Ann H. Tucker

Mrs. Ann H. Tucker of Ocilla died Friday, October 31 1998, at Tift 
General Hospital. She was 64.

Mrs. Tucker was born January 8, 1934, in Irwin County, the daughter of 
William, Sr. and Bessie Hudson. She was former owner and operator of 
Ann's Beauty Shop of Ocilla.  Mrs. Tucker is a life-long resident of 
Irwin County. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star, 
Home Demonstration Club and Georgia Hairdresser Association.  She was 
also a former employee of Irwin County Hospital.

Survivors  include two sons, Johnny Tucker of Ocilla and  Tommy 
Tucker of Fitzgerald; three grandchildren; three brothers, Lonnie Hudson 
of Ocilla, Newt Hudson, Jr. of Hialeah, FL1 and Henry Hudson of Ocilla; 
one sister, Martha H. McCobk of Ocilla.

Services were held at Paulk Funeral Home Chapel of Ocilla on Sunday 
October 25 at 2  p.m., with Rev. Dewain Joiner  and Rev. Ryan Carnes 
officiating.

Music was provided by organist, Linda Arant and singers, Wayne and Linda
Arant.

Pallbearers were Harry Tucker, Jimmy Herod, Danny Howell, Harry 
Hudson, Chris Hodnett and Johnny N. Tucker.

Interment was held at Ocilla Cemetery.

Paulk Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
