This is a picture of Miss Mary Wolfe School Group of Midway  Church.  

There is no date on the back but my grandfather (William Edward Payne Owen) and 
family lived in Baxley in the early 1890s. 

 He died 1917 and is buried in the Midway Cemetery.

 He was a stone worker and my Grandmother was Josephine .  She was from 
Germany.  I think this picture is after 1900.  I would appreciate any info that 
anyone can share.  Also a picture of Altamaha School and Midway Church in the 
early 1940.
