Born August 31, 1959, in Clinch County, GA, Mr. Adams was the son of Mitchell Talmadge (Buddy) and Madeline Braswell Adams. He was employed as a machine operator with Pro Grow Supply, Inc. in Willacoochee, GA. He enjoyed singing and also was an evangelist having preached in many area churches. He was a member o of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and also attended Indian Mound Baptist Church. A s sister, Bobbie Jean Smith preceded him in death. Survivors include, parents, Buddy and Madeline Adams of Axson, GA; brothers, Preston Adams of Pearson Ga, Bo Adams and wife Bonnie Sue of Cogdell, GA; sisters, Madie Rivers and husband Ricky of Axson, GA, Pam Garrett and husband James of Ellijay, GA, Barbara Metts and husband, Michael of Mora, GA, Mary Luke and husband, Keith of Axson, GA, several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Adams were held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2010 at Indian Mound Church in Millwood, GA with Rev. Clayton Davis and Rev. Edgar Musgrove officiating. Special musical selections included “The Robe” rendered by Deloris Bennett, “Walk Through The Blood” rendered by Kandy Thrift, Deloris Bennett and Betty Gail Davis and “Amazing Love” by CD. Prelude and postlude musi music were prerecorded songs by Mrs. Adams. The Interment followed in Indian Moun Mount Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Randy Braswell, Ricky Braswell, David Oliver, Jas Jason Delk, Derek Register, Dale Smith. Honorary pallbearers were employers of ProGrow Supply, Inc. and Britt Tillman. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
