A native of Pearson, GA, Mrs. Anderson was born March 24, 1930 daughter of P Perry and Effie Richardson Spivey. She was the operator of a gas station and g grocery store for many years. Mrs. Anderson was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. S She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Anderson, sons, Willie Joe ( (Charles) Anderson and Raymond Lee Anderson, 3 grandsons, Roman Bennett, Wayne A Anderson and Joe Willie Anderson, granddaughter, Brenda Sue Anderson, sister, G Geneva Reliford and brothers, James Spivey and H.L. Richardson. Survivors include, three sons, David Anderson and wife Judy of Axson, GA, Terry Wayne Anderson of Pearson, GA, Keith Perry Anderson of Pearson, GA; four daughters, Patricia Ann Bennett and husband Russell of Pearson, GA, Bonnie Sue McGovern and husband Barney Ray of Pearson, GA, Dorothy Latrelle Hall and husband Ronnie of Pearson, GA, Regina K. Peach of Douglas, GA; four sisters, Ann Dibble of Douglas, GA, Earnestine Dibble of Douglas, GA, Betty Dickerson of Jacksonville, FL, Pearly Pridgett of Douglas, GA; 24 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also s survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Anderson were held Sunday, December 16, 2012 at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Pearson, GA with Bishop Kevin Merrell, Bishop Steve Sirmans and Bro. Virgil Bennett officiating. Special musical selections included, “Oh, My Father” and “God Be with You ‘Till We Meet Again” rendered by the congregation with Ellen Hardee acc accompanying at the piano. Soft music for the prelude and postlude was rendered by by Ellen Hardee, pianist. The interment followed in Royals Cemetery with dedication of the grave given by by Bishop Kevin Merrell. Serving as active pallbearers were grandsons, Chris McGovern, Berry Peach, T Travis Peach, Keith Anderson, Wade Anderson, Timothy Anderson, Shane Anderson, D David Anderson, Timothy Anderson.
