Atkinson County Citizen - March 22, 2012
 Mr. Henry Anderson age 87, of the Kirkland Community passed away Sunday, March 1
18, 2012 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA following an extended i
illness.
 A native of Coffee County, Mr. Anderson was born September 23, 1924, son of 
John and Nancy Jane Mancil Anderson. He was a retired farmer and a member of S
Sunnyside Baptist Church. He also attended New Bethel Church. He was preceded i
in death by his wife, Thelma Bowen Anderson.
 Survivors include, daughters, Shirlene Branch and husband Chris of Pearson, GA 
and Shirley Propes and friend David Westerman of Cartersville, GA; sons, Jerry 
Anderson and wife Jacqueline of Axson, GA and Julian Anderson and wife Martha 
of Dupont, GA; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services for Mr. Anderson were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Sunnyside Baptist
Church with Rev. Sim Youngblood and Rev. J.A. Anderson officiating. Special musical
selections included

Special musical selections included “When I get where I’m Going,” “Daddy’s 
Hands” and “Go Rest High on that Mountain” presented by cd. Soft music for the pr
prelude and the postlude was played by Margaret Williams, pianist. 
 The interment followed in the Sunnyside Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Josh Jordan, Gary Anderson, Kevin Zanders, David Zanders, J
Jeremy Anderson, Lee Anderson.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
