 Mrs. Lurie Lee Barlow, age 85, of Pearson, GA passed away Friday, April 17, 2
2009 at the Lakeland Convalescent Center in Lakeland Convalescent Center in L
Lakeland, GA following an extended illness.
 A native of Miller County, Mrs. Barlow had made her home in Atkinson County f
for many years. Mrs. Barlow was born March 11, 1924 daughter of Arthur and Lucy D
Drake Parker. She was a homemaker and member of Goodwill Assembly of God C
Church. Mrs. Barlow was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earl Barlow Sr. a
and son, E.J. Barlow.
 Survivors include son, Earl Barlow, Jr. of Pearson, GA.; two grandchildren, 
Brad Barlow of Douglas, GA, Karla Sewell of Douglas, GA; four great-grandchildren
and several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Barlow were held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 20,
2009 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. The interment
followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Irby Barlow, Wendell Barlow, Brad Barlow, Dylan
Sewell, Chris Swell, Ralph "Tonky" Barlow.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
