Atkinson County Citizen - December 31, 2015
  Mrs. Della Palmer Barlow, age 87, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Sunday, December 
20, 2015, at Shady Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Douglas, GA. After 
an extended illness.
 A native of Atkinson County, Mrs. Barlow was born May 11, 1928, daughter of 
Elias and Emma Taylor Palmer. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She 
was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Barlow; son, Ronnie Barlow; 
grandson, Andy Barlow and a great grandson, Brendon Rish.
Survivors include; four sons, Irby Barlow and wife Willie Mae of Pearson, Bill 
Barlow of Pearson, Ralph Barlow and wife Darleen of Pearson and Wendell Barlow 
and wife, Sheila of Axson; two daughters, Marion Tanner and husband Zeke of 
Pearson and Vickie Campbell and husband Robbie of Pearson, GA; 11 grandchildren, 
15 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews 
and other relatives survive.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Barlow were held Tuesday, December 22, 2015, at 3 
p.m. at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Fields and Rev. Lonnie Spikes 
officiating. Special musical selections were “The Sun’s Coming up in the 
Morning: and “Precious Memories” rendered by Tammy Wood. Soft music for the 
prelude and postlude was by cd.
 The interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
 Serving as pallbearers were Corey Barlow, Kirk Barlow, Johnny L. Tanner, 
Stanley McClelland, Stacey McClelland, Glen Arrington.
 Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
