Atkinson County Citizen, Thursday, 10-4-2007
 Mr. Joe H. Bennett, 50, of Pearson, GA, pased away Friday, September 28, 2007 
at Baptist Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL. following an extended illness.
 Mr. Bennett was a native of Atkinson Co., and was born on April 12, 1957, son 
of T. G. and Margaret Smith Bennett.
 He was a retired carpenter.
 Survivors include three sisters; Madie Harper and Annie Ruth Spivey both of 
Douglas, GA; Linda Joyce Williams of Nicholls; one brother, Travis Bennett of 
Axson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Graveside services for Mr. Bennett were held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 1, 
2007 at the Axson Cemetery with Rev. Hardy Crosby officiating. Interment was 
in the same cemetery.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
