 Mrs. Blue was born July 29, 1931 in Pearson to the late Lester C. and Theresa Co
Corbitt. She lived in Fitzgerald most of her life and was a former resident of Pe
Pearson and Nashville. Mrs. Blue retired in 1996 as a license examiner for the De
Dept. of Motor Vehicle Services in Douglas after 20 years of service. She was a me
member of Central United Methodist Church and the Georgia Peace Officers As
Association. 
 Mrs. Blue is survived by her husband: Charlie J. Blue, Fitzgerald; son: Lamar (
(Dianne) McDonald, Fitzgerald; daughter: Lynn (Jerry) Morris, Alapaha; 6 g
grandchildren: Jason (Lori) McDonald, Fitzgerald, Jennifer (Billy) Mix, Gray, R
Regina (Matt) Kimbrell, Nashville, Shauna (Ed) Branch, Lake Park, Justin M
McDonald and Josh McDonald, Fitzgerald; 10 great grandchildren; 3 stepchildren: M
Mary Elizabeth (Steve) Griffin, Pam (Glenn) Holley and Angela Blue, all of F
Fitzgerald; step grandchildren: Christian Blue and John David Grantham; b
brother: Johnny (Stella) Corbitt, Sylcauga, AL; sisters: Jean Perkins , P
Pearson, Ethel Hatcher, Spring City, TN, Thada Graham, Pearson and Rudy (
(Herman) Storey, Waycross as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her p
parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sons, Ashley and Lanier McDonald. 
 The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Blue-Gray Comm
Community Hospice, P.O. Box 1447, Fitzgerald, GA 31750.
