Atkinson County Citizen - December 11, 2005
 Mr. G.W. Brown, age 75, of Pearson, GA passed away Tuesday evening, December 
13, 2005 at his home following a brief illness.
 Mr. Brown, a lifelong resident of Atkinson County was born in Wilcox County, 
son of Charlie and Martha Bagwell Brown. He was a bus driver for the Atkinson 
County Public School System. He was a member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist 
Church. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his wife, Vera Youngblood Brown.
 Survivors include three sons, Buddy Brown and wife, Linda of Pearson, Kenny 
Brown and wife Sharon of Broxton and Greg Brown and wife Henrietta of Pearson; 
three daughters , Janice Mobley and husband Maurice of Pearson, Charlene White 
and husband Joel of Pearson and Rita Burch and husband Teddy of Pearson; and 
one sister, Julia Grace Westgate of Colquitt, GA. Eight grandchildren, 7 great-
grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
