Atkinson County Citizen - February 14, 2008
 Mr. Willie Eston Bryant, age 86, of Douglas, GA passed away on Saturday, Feb. 
9, 2008 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Mr. Bryant, a native of Atkinson 
County, GA was born Jan. 10, 1922; he is the son of the late Cauley C. and 
Rebecca Vickers Bryant. He was previously employed with the Jardine Auto 
Company and he retired from the Georgia Hwy. Department in 1984. Son, Bobby 
Wayne Bryant and brother, J.E. Bryant preceded him in death.
 Survivors include wife, Mary Evelyn Harper Bryant, Douglas, GA; granddaughter, 
Mary Angela Bryant (Jeff) Edwards, Statesboro, GA; great grandchildren, Wesley 
Bryant Edwards and Madison Bailey Edwards, Statesboro, GA; daughter in law, 
Janice Purvis Bryant, Albany, GA.
 Graveside services and interment were held 4 p.m., Monday, February 11, 2008 
at the Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Rev. Randy DeLoach officiating. 
Taped selections of "Amazing Grace" and "Peace In The Valley" were provided.
 Active pallbearers were Howard Johnson, Jeff Edwards, David Evans, Stanley 
Edwards, Hershell Guthrie, Bronson Coffee.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
