Atkinson County Citizen - December 5, 2013
Jessie M. Childs, age 77 of Macclenny, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013.
 
  Born in Willacoochee, GA to the late Alton and Elva More, Mrs. Childs was a 
forty year resident of Macclenny. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, 
sewing and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
 
 She is survived by her daughters, Charlotte (Richard) Mobarak of New Mexico, 
Susan (George) Nowlen of Macclenny, Barbara Knight of Glen St. Mary; brothers, 
Clarence Moore of Willacoochee, GA and Roy Moore; eleven grandchildren and 
twenty five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, 
Billy L. Childs, daughter, Patty Allen; great-granddaughter, Madisyn Nowlen; 
brother, Ronald Moore; sister, Barbara Ann Bell.

 A graveside service will be held 11 a.m., Monday, December 2, 2013, at the 
Willacoochee City Cemetery, Willacoochee, GA with Rev. Jan Conners officiating.

 Arrangements are under the care and direction of Forbes Fu8neral Home, 
Macclenny, FL.
