Arlene was survived by her mother Alberta, husband, Jim, her daughter Breanne (Josh), step- sons Tim (Kimber) Jason (Selena) and 4 step grandchildren, as well as her sister Anne and brothers, Paul (Debbie), Maurice (Kathleen), John and Herb. Arlene bad a passion for education and succeeded in obtaining two masters degrees and a Ph. D. Arlene loved the sound of the waves and the feeling of sand between her toes. She was an avid cook, expert gardener, loved to travel and frequent the farmers market, and cherished her family and friends. Arlene lived a full life and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. There will be a celebration of life at 7 p.m. Friday May 3rd at the Willacoochee Methodist Church.
