Atkinson County Citizen - September 2004
 Mr. Bill Corbitt, age 68 of Macon, GA passed away Thursday, August 26, 2004 at 
his residence.

 A native of Atkinson Co., Mr. Corbitt was born September 6, 1935 son of the 
late Lester and Mattie Douglas Corbitt. Mr. Corbitt had made his home in Macon, 
GA for the past 34 years. He was a member of Parkway Baptist Church.

 Survivors include wife, Mary Corbitt of Macon, GA, daughters, Donna Corbitt of 
St. Simons, GA, Susan Stahl and husband Steve of St. Simons, GA; son, Bill 
Corbitt of Macon, GA; grandson, Colton Corbitt of Macon, GA; 3 sisters, Dot 
Little of Albany, GA, Betty Davis and Mattie Lou Smith of Pearson, GA. Several 
nieces and nephews also survive.

 Funeral services for Mr. Corbitt was held Sunday, August 29, 2004 at 11 a.m. 
in the Chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home in Macon, GA with Rev. Terry Sapp 
officiating. Graveside services and interment were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at 
Arna Cemetery with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of local arrangements
