He was a policeman in Pearson, GA and in 1996 he retired from Big John Trailers after 20 years. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Lounelle Cribb of Homeland, GA; son, Kyle Franklin (Cissy) Cribb of St. George, GA; daughter, Katrina (Craig) Crawford of St. George, GA; six grandchildren, Kayla Cribb, Alex Cribb, Marley Cribb, Emma Crawford, Levi Cribb, Nolan Crawford; sister, Lois Robinson of Jesup, GA; brother, Thomas Edward "Buddy" Cribb of Waycross, GA and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation was held on December 28, 2004 from 6 - 10 p.m. at Shephard Funeral Home. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, December 29, 2004 at 3 p.m. at Sweetwater Cemetery in Pearson, GA with Rev. Charles Brown and Rev. Harold Thornton officiating the services.
