Crosby, age 72 of Willacoochee, GA passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, GA following an extended illness. A native of Berrien County, GA. Mrs. Crosby was born March 28, 1935 daughter of the late Leo and Dacy Mae Pafford Sharpe. She had made her home in Willacoochee for most of her life and was a homemaker. Her church membership was at the Willacoochee Church of God. Preceding her in death was a son Bobby Crosby. Survivors include husband Clarence (Bo) Crosby of Willacoochee, GA; son Eddie Crosby of Willacoochee, GA; daughters, Sandra Padilla and husband Rick of St. Marys, GA and Margaret Griner and husband Bruce of Adel, GA; brother, Tommy Sharpe of Auburndale, FL; sisters, Velma McRae of Adel, GA, Annette Scott of Willacoochee, GA, Vida Mae Shriver of Auburndale, FL; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mrs. Crosby were held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 16, 2008 at the Willacoochee Church of God with Rev. Jeremy DeLoach and Rev. Michael Paulk officiating. Special musical selections included "Who Am I" and "I Believe In A Hill Called Mount Calvary" rendered by Soloist Rev. Jeremy DeLoach with taped accompaniment. Also "I Can Only Imagine" was presented by tape. Pianist LaVonda Pittman provided soft music for the prelude and the postlude. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were Wayne Crosby, Corey Nipper, Ashley Moore, Michael Moore, Richard Vaughn, Jonathan Moore. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
