 Mr. Curtis Crosby age 77 of Pearson, GA passed away Friday, March 11, 2011 at Su
Summers Landing in Douglas, GA following an extended illness.
 A native of Pearson, GA, Mr. Crosby was born on September 30, 1933, son of Tom a
and Emma Walsh Crosby. He worked for many years as a purchasing agent for Swift P
Poultry in Douglas, GA and later worked in the mobile home industry. He was a f
former mayor of Pearson, GA, a member of American Legion Post 173 in Pearson, G
GA and a US Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Crosby was a member o
of the Goodwill Assembly of God Church in Pearson, GA.
 Survivors include wife, Marjorie Fender Crosby of Douglas, GA; son, Jerome 
Crosby and wife, Tammy of Willacoochee, GA, grandchildren, Jay Curtis Crosby 
and wife Vonda of Willacoochee, GA, Tiffany Eve Crosby of Willacoochee, GA, 
great-grandchild, Tyson Fisher Crosby; brother, Tom Crosby, Jr. of Waycross, G
GA; sister, Reba Kirkland of Pearson, GA.
 Funeral services for Mr. Crosby were held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2011at 
Goodwill Assembly of God Church in Pearson, GA with Rev. Raymond Cason 
officiating. Special music selections were “Amazing Grace” rendered acapella by 
the attending congregation and “Peace of God” by CD. 
 The interment followed in Satilla Memorial Gardens in Douglas, GA.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Jay Crosby, Jason Fender, Justin Fender, J
Josh Crosby, Gary Crosby, Wayne Hutchinson.
 Honorary pallbearers were the Hardee’s Morning Coffee Group.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
