Atkinson County Citizen - September 2004
 Mrs. Ferra Lee Davis age 89 of Pearson, GA passed away Sunday, August 29, 2004 
at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following a brief illness. 

 A native of Berrien County. Mrs. Davis was  born March 9, 1915 daughter of 
Arren and Lola Griffis Fountain. Preceding her in death was a son Levurn Arren 
Davis and her husband John Davis.

 Survivors include son, Edwin Davis and wife Janice of Pearson, GA; 3 sisters, 
Enola Osburn and Choira Davis of Jacksonville, FL, Latrelle Kirkland of Rocky 
Mt., NC; 3 grandchildren Edwin F. Davis Jr. and wife Melissa of Jesup, GA, 
Regina Courson and husband Terry of Pearson, GA, Tracy Mizell and husband Jesse 
of Axson, GA, l step grandchild, Gary Vickers and wife Wylene of Axson, GA, 3 
great grandchildren Brett Mizell, Carlton Taft, Cole Davis, 6 step great 
grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Davis were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2004 
at Refuge Primitive Baptist Church, with Bishop Dan Vickers and Rev. Mark Gibbs 
officiating. Special musical selections included "Amazing Grace" and "Rock of 
Ages" sung by the Primitive Baptist Singers and the attending congregation. The 
interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery.

 Serving as active pallbearers were Edwin F. Davis, Jr., Brett Mizell, Carlton 
Taft, Gary Vickers, Mitchell Davis and Brian Schotsch.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
