Atkinson County Citizen - October 28, 2004
 Mrs. Georgia Brown Davis, age 86, of Pearson, GA passed away Tuesday, October 
19, 2004 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following an extended 
illness.

 A native of Wilcox County, Mrs. Davis was born August 27, 1918 daughter of 
Charles Phillip and Martha Bagwell Brown. She was a homemaker and member of 
Refuge Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her 
husband Troy Davis.

 Survivors include 2 sons, Jerry Davis and wife Gloria of Pearson, GA, Dale 
Davis and wife Christy of Pearson GA; brother, G.W. Brown of Pearson, GA; 
sister, Grace Westgate of Colquitt, GA, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-
grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Funeral services for Mrs. Davis were held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2004 
at Refuge Primitive Baptist Church in Pearson, GA with Rev. Larry Johnson 
officiating. A special musical selection "Amazing Grace" was rendered by the 
congregation. The interment followed in Sweetwater Cemetery.

 Serving as active pallbearers were Troy Davis, Phillip Davis, Lamar Davis, 
Mitchell Davis, Mike Barlow and Greg Brown.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
