Davis, age 25, of Rt. 2, Pearson, GA passed away Friday morning, December 23, 2005 from injuries received in an accidental house fire. Mr. Davis, son of Gene and Diane Delk Davis was born in Coffee County, April 28, 1980. He was a Route Supervisor and Maintenance Technician for 5 Star Food Service. Mr. Davis was a member of Wesley Chapel Holiness Baptist Church and also attended Ozias Freewill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Christie Williams Davis of Pearson, GA; 2 daughters, Miracle Hope Davis and Calleigh Isabelle Davis of Pearson, GA; son, Drew Isaac Davis of Pearson, GA; parents, Gene and Diane Delk Davis of Pearson, GA; brother, Christopher Davis of Pearson, GA; sister, Stephanie D. Wilson and husband Stacey of Nicholls, GA; paternal grandmother, Lucille Davis of Pearson, GA; maternal grandparents, T.J. and Emmalene Delk of Pearson, GA; and mother and father in law, Charles O. and Debbie Williams of Pearson, GA, several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Davis were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 28, 2005 at Ozias Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Johnson and Rev. Raymond Cason officiating. Special musical selections included "In My Life/If We Never Meet Again" and "The Broken Road" played by tape. Another service followed at Wesley Chapel Holiness Baptist Church with Rev. David Rowe officiating. Special musical selections included "Drinking From the Saucer" rendered by Bruce Tanner and Kathy Tanner with taped accompaniment and "Press On" played by tape. Soft music for the Ozias service was provided by Joyce Johnson, pianist and soft music for the Wesley Chapel service was provided by Cathy Tanner, pianist. The interment followed in Royals Cemetery with Derick Soles singing "Amazing Grace," acappella. Serving as active pallbearers were Ted Clarke, Jose Martinez, Clay Collier, David Thrift, John Lesure, Johnny Lomax and Debra Driggers. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Fernell Spivey, Ricky Davis, Scott Davis, Eric Mizell, Clay Mizell, Stacey Wilson, Kyle Delk, Joey Davis, Josh White, Tim Williams, Mark Williams, Andy Bennett, Charles Williams, Lynn Hernandez and employees of Five Star Foods.
