The Atkinson County Citizen - January 17, 2008
 Mrs. Ernestine Corbitt Gilstrap, age 78 of Marietta, died Saturday.
 Funeral services were held 11 a.m. Monday, January 14, in the chapel at the 
Carmichael Funeral Home with the Revs J. R. McAliley and Lee Delbridge 
officiating. Burial followed in the Georgia Memorial Park Cemetery.
 A native of Pearson, GA, Mrs. Gilstrap has been a long time resident of 
Atlanta. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She 
enjoyed reading, sewing and being with her family. She was preceded in death 
by her husband of 57 years, Mr. Joe Neal Gilstrap.
 Surviving are sons, Gary Gilstrap of Smyrna and Bradley Gilstrap of Marietta. 
Daughter, Kathy Chapman of Marietta. Brother, Hillman Corbitt of Pearson, 
sisters, Lounell Holman of Dunnellon, FL, Willard Vickers of Broxton and 
Winnie Harrell of Winterhaven, FL. 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
 In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to the Union Hill Congregational 
Church in Pearson, GA.
