Atkinson County Citizen - February 16, 2006
 Mr. Willie "Billy" Griffin, 51, died Wednesday February 8, 2006 at Coffee 
Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.
 He was a native and life long resident of Atkinson County. She was a son to 
the late Leroy Griffin and Mary Lou Murray Griffin. He was preceded in death by 
a brother, Harvey L. Griffin.
 The survivors include a daughter, Darlene Thornburg, husband, Michael of 
Blackshear; two grandchildren, Seirra Thornburg and Michael Thornburg, Jr. both 
of Blackshear; brother, Herman Griffin of Douglas; sisters, Mary Lois Troupe 
and Shirley Tanzer both of Douglas and Patsy S. Spivey of Alma; and numerous 
nieces and nephews.
 Memorialization will the cremation.
 Music Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
