Mr. Donald Hailey age 52 of Pearson, GA passed away Saturday, January 17, 2009 
at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following an extended illness.
 A native of Port Arthur, TX, Mr. Hailey was born August 14, 1956 son of the 
late William D. Hailey Jr. and Shirley Miles Reeves. Coming from Mississippi, 
Mr. Hailey had made his home here in Pearson for the last 14 years. He worked 
in construction in the mobile home industry and attended Waldroup Avenue 
Church of God. Mr. Hailey was preceded in death by his wife, Julianne Hailey 
and son, C.J. Hailey. 
 Survivors include: 3 sons: William Clinton Hailey and wife, Amber of Douglas, 
GA, Richard Ray Hailey of Pearson, GA, Joshua James Hailey of Pearson, GA, 3 
daughters: Kari Ann Screws and husband Wesley of Douglas, GA, Shannon Jane 
Whaley of Pearson, GA, Donna Rae Vickers of Diamond Head, Miss. Mother and 
Stepfather: Shirley Reeves and husband R.C. of Wichita Falls, TX, 2 brothers: 
Billy Hailey of Nederland, TX, Milton Hailey of Beaumont, TX, 3 sisters: 
Tricia Landers of Keller, TX, Margaret Mahl of Lake Tawakoni, TX, Elizabeth 
Emling of Witchita Falls, TX, 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews 
also survive.
 Funeral services for Mr. Hailey were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 21, 
2009 at New Harmony Grove Baptist Church. Special musical selections 
include "Go Rest High On That Mountain" rendered by Wesley Screws with CD 
accompaniment. The interment followed in Harmony Grove Cemetery.
 Serving as active pallbearers were: Carlton Lewis, Jose Gomez, Eleazar Gomez, 
Kenneth Haskins, Kyle "Rooster" Guy and Ashley Sanders.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA is in charge of the arrangements.
