A native of Camilla, GA, Allen was born March 12, 1991 son of Tammy Hancock. He attended Ozias Freewill Baptist Church and was a student at Atkinson County High School where he was a member of the Atkinson County Band and Track team. Allen also enjoyed playing the guitar. Survivors include: Mother and Stepfather: Tammy Elaine Kirkland and husband Matthew of Pearson, GA. Maternal Grandparents: Patricia and Ervin Stone of Pearson, GA. Paternal Grandparents: Leonard and Kelly Hancock of Albany, Ga. Paternal Great-Grandmother: Mittie Sue Hancock of Albany, GA. 1 brother: Dustin Lee Underwood of Pearson, GA. 1 uncle: Charles Hancock of Homerville, GA. 1 Aunt: Patricia Shelinsky of Concord, NC. Several other Aunts, Uncles and Cousins also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Hancock were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Ozias Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. J.A. Anderson and Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Special musical selections included "I Can Only Imagine" and "When I Get Where I'm Going" rendered by Charles and Tammy Wood with guitar accompaniment, also "Go Rest High On That Mountain" by soloist Tammy Wood with CD accompaniment. Soft music for the Prelude and Postlude was provided by Michael Johnson, pianist. The interment followed in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Tony Fisher, Joseph Harrell, John Reliford, Dustin Montgomery, Hunter Aldridge, and Lonnie Reliford. Serving as honorary pallbearers were: ATCO High Students. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA. was in charge of the arrangements.
