Mr. Cullen Charles Hardee, Jr. age 53 of Axson, GA passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 
2008 at South Georgia Medical Center in Valdosta, GA following an extended 
illness.
 A native of Ware County, Mr. Hardee was born Aug. 25, 1954 son of the late 
Cullen Charles, Sr. and Winnie Lee McKinnon Hardee.
 Survivors include two sisters, Louise Hardee Gilliard and husband, Talmadge 
of Millwood, GA and Gladys Hardee Thompson of Jacksonville, FL and two 
brothers, Roy Lee Hardee and wife Alice of Millwood, GA and Ronnie Hardee and 
wife, Nova Faye of Axson, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services for Mr. Hardee were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2008 
at Indian Mound Baptist Church with Rev. Clayton Davis and Rev. Talmadge 
Gilliard officiating. A special poem written by Mr. Hardee's niece, Winnie 
Hardee Burton was read by Candy Thrift. Special musical selections "Abide With 
Me" and 
Nearer My God To Thee" were rendered by Shad Sirmans and Preston Hardee with 
Ellen Hardee accompanying at the piano. Ellen Hardee pianist played soft music 
for the Prelude and the Postlude. The interment followed in Hargraves Chapel 
Cemetery.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Ronnie Hardee, Roy Lee Hardee, Wesley 
Gilliard, Brad Hardee, Eddie Thrift and Charles O'Berrry.
 Honorary pallbearers were: G. C. Simmons, Robby Musgrove, Horace Thompson, 
Kendall Taft, Rondal O'Berry, Dennis McDowell, Ricky McDowell, Ray Thompson 
and Perry Thompson.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
