Atkinson County Citizen - January 24, 2013
 Carolyn Patton Harper, age 55, of Willacoochee, GA passed away on Tuesday, 
January 15, 2013, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended 
illness. Mrs. harper was born on March 25, 1957, in Douglas, GA to the late 
Temmies Jerrell Patton and Mavis Ruth O'Neal Patton.
 Survivors include companion, Kiram Mancil of Willacoochee, GA; four sisters, 
Faye (Bradley) Foskey, Lou Waldron, both of Douglas, GA, Angela Youngblood of 
Pearson and Geraldine Patton Burress of St. Augustine, FL; brother, Ronnie 
(Sabrina) Patton of Douglas, GA; stepchildren, Laura Jo Mancil of Dixie Union, 
GA, Regina Mancil of Ocilla, GA, Karen Roberts of Nashville, GA, Nancy Williams 
of Douglas, GA and Wesley Spivey of Douglas, GA; several nieces and nephews. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Harper.
 Funeral services were held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Anchor 
Fellowship Church with Rev. Jason McSwain and Rev. Scott Smith officiating.
 Interment followed at Rocky Pond Church Cemetery. 
 Music was furnished for the service by Ronnie Patton "Anchor Holds," Patsy and 
Larry Spivey "Prettiest Flowers" and "Changing Houses."
Pallbearers were David Chaney, Aaron Patton, Ashley Patton, Andrew Burch, 
Jeremy Meeks, Colby Davenport.
 Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
