Atkinson County Citizen - November 8, 2012
  Mrs. Janie Lucille Herin, age 91, of Waycross, GA formerly of Pearson, GA p
passed away Friday, November 2, 2012 at Baptist Village Retirement Home in W
Waycross, GA following an extended illness.
 A native of Axson, GA, Mrs. Herin was born March 27 1921, daughter of Charlie 
and Allie Wilson May. She worked as an operator for the telephone company and 
was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Mrs. Herin  
was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Herin and a son, Dr. Micky Herin.
 Survivors incude grandson, Michael Herin of Baton Rouge, LA; three great 
grandchildren; brother, Lehi White of Pearson, GA; sisters, Hazel Moulder of
Wenathee
Wenathee WA, Loretta Green of St. Marys, GA and Betty Clements of Ft. L
Lauderdale, FL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Herin were held on Sunday, November 4, 
2012 at Utah Cemetery in Axson, GA with Bishop Steve Sirmans. 
 The interment followed in Utah Cemetery with dedication of the grave by Elder 
Shad Sirmans.
 Active pallbearers were Chett Schwartz, Joel White, Kenny Vining, Ronnie 
White, Jimmy White, Clansy Mullis.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
