The Atkinson County Citizen - July 10, 2008
Mr. Rodger Leroy Hile passed away peacefully July 2, 2008 in Jacksonville, FL 
where he had lived for 27 years, surrounded by family and friends. A devoted 
Georgia Bulldog fan. Rodger was born in Tifton, GA on January 26, 1965.
 He is survived by his wife, Jamie Hile, daughter, Coren, sons, Jeffery, Jason 
and Chris and seven grandchildren of Jacksonville, FL, mother, Jean Hile of 
Willacoochee, and father, Bill Hile, of Virginia, brothers, Randy and Mark of 
Jacksonville, FL, nieces, Lacey and Stacey, nephew, Austin, Jacksonville, FL, 
aunt and uncle, Jimmie and Bud O'Neal, cousins, Evie and Tim Mixon, Steve, 
Jennifer, Janie and Raymond of Willacoochee. Several other nieces, nephews and 
numerous friends. His grandmother, Janie Davis-Lott of Willacoochee, GA 
preceded him in death.
 Rodger was a loyal friend and a loving family man who will be missed by many. 
Be at peace, Rodger, and know all who knew you loved you. You made an impact 
on many and you will never be forgotten. Watch over us, brother.
 Come join us Saturday, July 12, 2008, at 11 a.m. for a celebration of his 
life at the Willacoochee Cemetery. A reception will be held at the 
Willacoochee Church of God Social Hall.
