A native of Duval County, FL, Mr. Hile was born Sept. 5, 1962 son of William Richard and Shelba Jean Davis Hile. Mr. Hile made his home in Willacoochee, GA until 1984 before moving to Jacksonville, FL. He was a window salesman with Atrium Co. and was involved in many different charity organizations including the Battered Women's Shelter and Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Hile was a member of Willacoochee Church of God. He was preceded in death by one brother, Rodger Hile. Survivors include, loving companion, Jennifer Rutledge of Jacksonville, FL, Mother, Jean Hile of Willacoochee, GA, Father, Hill Hile of Chesapeake, VA., brother, Randy Hile of Jacksonville, FL; step-son, James Rutledge of Jacksonville, FL, stepdaughter, Kathleen Hodges of Jacksonville, FL. Sister-in- law, Frances Hammond of Jacksonville, FL. Nieces and nephews, Austin Hile, Stacey Hile, Lacey Campbell, Christopher Hile and Racheal Hammond all of Jacksonville, FL. Funeral services for Mr. Hile were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 14, 2008 at Willacoochee Church of God with Rev. Jeremy DeLoach and Rev. Ricky Crosby officiating. Special musical selections included, "Amazing Grace," "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" and "Go Rest High on That Mountain" rendered by tape. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were: Randy Hile, Bill Hile, Christopher Hile, Dan Moore, Ronnie Crosby and Tim Mixon. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
