Born November 30, 1931 in Ware County to Marvin Jackson and Clyde Smith Hulett, he was a retired automobile mechanic and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include two sons, Marvin Hulett and Jeff Hulett of Enigma; two daughters, Debra Cooper of Waycross and Cindi O'Conner of Berlington, NC; three sisters, Lillie White of Axson, Connie Slate of Atlanta, Helen King of Waycross; ten grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 24 at 2 p.m. at the Church of God of Prophecy in Axson with Rev. Melvin Burch and Sister Pat Hogan officiating. Special musical selections included "Amazing Grace" by soloist, Jennifer Suggs, accapella, and "Beulah Land" and "Someday Soon" by The Willing Vessels. Interment was in Axson Cemetery with military honors by an honor guard contingent from St. Stewart. Active pallbearers were Chris Hulett, Kyle Hulett, Justin Hulett, Jason Herndon, Rodney White and Wayne White. Honorary pallbearer was Neal Dawson. Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson was in charge of arrangements.
