Funeral services for Mr. Joiner will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at the Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church with the Rev. H.P. Murray and the Rev. David Rowe officiating. Special musical selections included, "Two Winning Hands" rendered by Greg Soles. Tina Royals and Nina Rowe with taped accompaniment, "The Darkest Hour Is Just Before Dawn" and "I Want Us To Be Together In Heaven" rendered by Kay Wright with piano accompaniment. Soft music for the prelude and postlude was provided by Kay Wright. Interment will follow in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers were grandsons David Chaney, Timothy Chaney, Jimmy Rowe, Mike Joiner, Damon Mizell, Keith Joiner, Matt Austin and Tate Griffin. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Church family and the former ministers of the church. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson. A native of Coffee County, Mr. Joiner was born June 4, 1920. He was the son of William and Sabry Royals Joiner. He was a retired farmer and a member of the Willacoochee Holiness Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Willie Mae McNatt Joiner of Willacoochee; three sons, Bobby Joiner and his wife Jean, Glyn Joiner and his wife Pam and Leroy Joiner and his wife Betty, all of Willacoochee; four daughters, Daisy Chaney and her husband J.T. of Wray; Myrtle Rowe and her husband Edgar of Nashville; Linda Knowles and her husband Phillip of Willacoochee and Katherine Mizell and her husband James of Axson; 23 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
