Mrs. Jones, a native of Atkinson County, was a retired Floor Lady with a local se sewing manufacturer. She was the daughter of the late James Edward Crosby and th the late Mattie Elvia Rowe Crosby. She was also preceded in death by son, Ke Kenneth Jones, ; brother, Johnny Crosby; 3 sisters, Mary Crosby, Leila Mancil an and Lilly Denby. Mrs. Jones was a member of the Willacoochee Church of God. Survivors include: daughters, Pam (Randy) Tucker of Pearson, GA and Pat Smith of Willacoochee, GA; son, Dale (Cindy) Crosby of Austin, TX; brother, Clarence "Bo" Crosby of Willacoochee, GA; Lifetime Companion, Harry Smith of Pearson, GA; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren. Special great-great-nephew, Eli Maddox Yawn of Nashville, GA. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 16, 2012, at 4 p.m. at the Willacoochee Church of God in Willacoochee, with Rev. Levi Jones, Rev. Cory Nipper and Rev. Glynn Rowell officiating. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Michael Moore, Blake Crosby, Jonathan Moore, Steven Gordon, Richard Yawn, Scott Duggan. Special musical selections, "Rose Without a Thorn," "My Angel," "If There is a Telephone in Heaven," were all presented by CD music and "Go Rest High on That Mountain," was rendered by the soloist, Lee Ann Hodge, with CD music.
