Mrs. Rudene Davis Kidd, age 66 of Douglas, GA formerly of Pearson, GA passed 
away Friday morning, Dec. 12, 2008 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in 
Douglas, GA following an extended illness.
 A native of Coffee  Co., Mrs. Kidd was born July 27, 1942 daughter of Willis 
and Mattie Hutchison Davis. She made her home in Pearson for most of her life 
before moving to Douglas 6 years ago. Mrs. Kidd worked as a convenience store 
clerk before poor health forced her retirement. She was a member of Ozias 
Freewill Baptist Church.
 Survivors include: one son, Tim Kidd and wife Ami of Douglas, GA; one 
daughter Tammy Dennison and husband Bill of Tifton, GA; one brother, Willis 
L. "Buck" Davis of Homerville, GA; three grandchildren, Tanya Dennison, Elana 
Fender and Lee Kidd.
 Several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Funeral services for Mrs. Kidd were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008 at 
Ozias Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Special 
musical selections included "Amazing Grace" rendered by the congregation along 
with the Ozias Praise Team, "Stroll Over Heaven with You" rendered by the 
Ozias Praise Team with Chris Davis at the keyboard and Michael Johnson at the 
piano, and "Beulah Land" rendered by soloist/guitarist, Bob Andrews. The 
interment followed in Utah Cemetery.
 Serving as active pallbearers were; Jerry Davis, J.A. Anderson, Walker 
Hutchison, Bruce White, Craig Stone and D.J. James.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson was in charge of arrangements.
