Atkinson County Citizen - September 27, 2012
 Mrs. Mary Ellen Locke, age 77, of Pearson, GA passed away Saturday, September 22, 
22, 2012 at Coffee Regional Medical Center in Douglas, GA following an extended
illn
illness.
 A native of Columbus, GA, Mrs. Locke was born December 10, 1934 daughter of Mr.
Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Thomas and Flossie Mae Monroe. She worked in retail as a sto
store clerk. Mrs. Locke was a member of Kirkland United Methodist Church.
 Survivors include, son, Royce Wayne Locke of Pearson, GA; sister, Barbara Dell an
and husband Jimmy of Pearson, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.
 Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Locke were held on Monday, September 24, 2
2012 at 11 a.m. at Kirkland United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Marvin G
Goodman officiating.
 Serving as active pallbearers were David Nugent, Henry Neugent, Carl Wood, J
Jason Dell, Jimmy Dell.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Members of Kirkland United Methodist 
Church.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of arrangements.
