Joe Edward Luke, Rt. 1, Axson, died Friday, May 3, 1985 following a brief 
illness. He was 49.
 A native of Berrien Co., he was the son of the late Hancel L. Luke.
 Funeral services were held Sunday, May 5, at Hargraves Chapel with the Rev. 
Hilton Martin officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery.
 Survivors are his mother, Mrs. Inez S. Luke, Axson; 2 daughters, Rhonda Marie 
Cones, Axson, Cynthia Diane Cones, Axson; 2 sisters, Mrs. Louise Burch, Axson; 
Mrs. Mary Jane Joyner, Pearson; 1 brother, Barney Luke, Axson.
 Pallbearers are Bobby Batten, Coleman O'Berry, Boyd O'Berry, Grady Bennett, 
Buddy Lewis, W. J. Mizell.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson in charge.
