Atkinson County Citizen - October 2005
 Mrs. Minnie D. Mancil age 82 of Willacoochee, GA passed away Monday morning, 
October 10, 2005 at her home following a brief illness.

 A native of Wheeler Co., Mrs. Mancil was born November 26, 1922 daughter of 
Andrew J. and Viola Sikes Darley. She was a homemaker, former textile worker 
and a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mrs. Mancil was preceded in death by a 
son, Harvie Mancil.

 Survivors include two sons, Hiram Mancil and wife Carolyn of Willacoochee, GA 
and Julian Mancil and wife Kathy of Willacoochee, GA; sister, Nora Robertson of 
Harrison, AK; two brothers, Herman Darley of Baton Rouge, LA and Frankie Darley 
of Venezuela, South America; eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and 
several nieces and nephews also survive.

 Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Mancil were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 
October 12, 2005 at the Willacoochee City Cemetery with Rev. Leland Watson 
officiating. Special musical selections included "Go Rest High On That 
Mountain" and "Send Your Best Angel For My Mother" rendered by Mattie Courdle, 
Eugene Courdle and Larry Courdle with Eugene Courdle and Larry Courdle 
accompanying on the guitar. The interment followed in the Willacoochee City 
Cemetery.

 Serving as active pallbearers were Micky Mancil, Bobby Mancil, Henry Mancil, 
Ricky Roberts, Bobby Shatto and James Troupe.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
