Atkinson County Citizen - September 16, 2010
 Mrs. Opal Wilkerson Mancil, age 90, of Willacoochee passed away Tuesday after
afternoon, September 7, 2010, at Tift General Hospital in Tifton, following an
exten
extended illness.
 Mrs. Mancil, a native of Coffee County, was the daughter of the late Dave Wilk
Wilkerson and the late Missouri Ann Tyson Wilkerson. She was also preceded in deat
death by her late husband, James Mancil. Mrs. Mancil was a Charter member of the 
the Faith Baptist Church of Willacoochee. 
 Survivors include: son, Jim (Teresa) Mancil of Marshall, TX; grandson, J.C. (St
(Stacy) Mancil of Hampton, GA; 3 sisters, Oneita Johnson and Ann Cloud both of Dou
Douglas, GA, Mary Mullis of Jacksonville, FL; brother, Olin Charles (Lula) Wil
Wilkerson of Nashville, GA. several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
 Graveside services and interment were held Saturday morning September 11, 20
2010, at 11 a.m. at Satilla Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with Rev. James Bowen of
officiating. Special musical selections, "Amazing Grace" and "Will The Circle Be
Be Unbroken," were presented acappella by Renee Parker and Lisa Pirtle.
 Ricketson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
