 Mrs. Bertha Tanner Mancil, age 77, of Nicholls, GA passed away at Monroe Regional 
Regional Medical Center, Ocala, FL on Saturday, April 18, 2010 following a brief
ill
brief illness. She was born December 10, 1932 in Coffee County, GA and she is the
daugh
the daughter of the Tillman & Lucy Harper Tanner. Ms. Mancil was a member of Fales
Pen
Fales Pentecostal Church and she was a homemaker.
 Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel
o
Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Edgar Musgrove officiating.
 Music was provided by pianist, Lois Mills with Shelia Fender singing "No More
Teardro
Teardrops." The congregation also sang "Amazing Grace."
 Interment followed in the Forest Grove Church Cemetery.
 Pallbearers were Rich Mancil, Matthew Mancil, Travis Mancil, Cody Mancil, Wes
Manci
Mancil, Victor Tanner, Earl Carter, Jerry Vickers.
 Survivors include son, Antonio (Elaine) Mancil; Ocala, FL, sister, Beadie Cart
Carter, Hazlehurst, GA; brother, Ossie Tanner, Barefoot Bay, FL; grandchildren,
Rich
Rich Mancil, Louisville, KY, Matthew Mancil, Statesboro, GA, Twyla Mancil, Gain
Gainesville, FL, Travis, Laura, Cody and Wes Mancil all of Ocala, FL and 3 grea
great grandchildren.
 Mrs. Mancil was preceded in death by son, Gregory Mancil and brothers, Elmer and
and Jasper Tanner both of Nicholls, GA.
 Nothing brought more joy to her than her faith, family and friends.
 Sims Funeral Home of Pearson was in charge of arrangements.
