Atkinson County Citizen - September 2005
 Mr. Doroteo Martinez, age 24 of Pearson, GA passed away Saturday, September 
24, 2005 in Pearson following an automobile accident.

 A native of Vera Cruz, Mexico, Mr. Martinez was born March 28, 1981 son of 
Salomon Martinez and the late Isidora Carrera Martinez. He was a farm laborer 
and of the Catholic faith.

 Survivors include his father, Salomon Martinez of Pearson, GA; 2 brothers, 
Manuel Martinez of Pearson, GA and Pilar Martinez of Pearson, GA; and sister, 
Isabel Martinez of Pearson, GA.

 Graveside funeral services and interment were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, 
September 28, 2005 at Live Oak Cemetery with Father Dan O'Connell officiating.

 Serving as active pallbearers were David Contreras, Israel Puc, Raymond 
Villalpanolo, Kyle Guy, Keith Haskins and  Jesse Thigpen.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
