Atkinson County Citizen - April 21, 2005
 Mrs. Hilda Lee May, age 81, of Camden, SC formerly of Fernandina Beach, FL 
passed away Saturday, April 9, 2005 at Kershaw County Medical Center in Camden, 
SC following an extended illness.

 A native of Pelham, GA, Mrs. May was born April 1, 1924, daughter of Zack 
Samuel and Octavia White Fenn. She was a retired finish inspector for Gilman 
Paper Company and a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 
Mrs. May was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Edward May and a son Danny 
May.

 Survivors included three sons, Charles Edward May of Camden, SC, John Wayne 
May of Fernandina Beach, FL and David May and wife Michelle of Camden, SC; 12 
grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also 
survive.

 Graveside services and interment for Mrs. May were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, 
April 13, 2005 at Utah Cemetery in Axson, GA with Bishop Lamar Park officiating 
and the dedication of the grave was given by Bishop Lester Cribb. Special 
music "Go Rest High On That Mountain" was rendered by soloist, Feron Royals 
with guitar accompaniment.

 Serving as active pallbearers were Jerry White, Chester Swartz, Jimmy White, 
Micky Herrin, Wayne White and Steve Harris.

 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
