Atkinson County Citizen - June 4, 2015
   Mrs. Linda Sue McDonald, age 61, of Pearson, passed away Sunday, may 24, 2015, 
at the Mayo Clinic Hospital in Jacksonville, FL following an extended illness.
 Born December 2, 1953, in Irwin County, Mrs. McDonald was the daughter of the 
late Dan and Thelma Boykin McMillan. She had made her home in Atkinson County for 
most of her life, was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in 
death by a son Roy David Saul McDonald.
 Survivors include, husband, Roy McDonald of Pearson; two sons, Simon McDonald and 
Matthew McDonald of Pearson; two brothers, Grady McMillan of Nashville, Thomas 
McMillan of Omega; four sisters, Brenda Giddens of Tifton, Pat Harris of 
Nashville, Shirley Maton of Tifton and Sarah Evelyn McMillan of Lakeland; three 
grandchildren, one great-child; and several nieces,  nephews and other relatives 
also survive.
 Graveside funeral service for Mrs. McDonald were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 
2015, at holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery with Rev. Sim Youngblood 
officiating. 
 The interment followed in Holy Family Cemetery.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Roy McDonald, Matthew McDonald, Simon 
McDonald, Lloyd McDonald, Laura McDonald, Carmen Rowland.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of  the arrangements.
