Atkinson County Citizen - April 9, 2015
  Mrs. Rose Whittington McKinnon, age 51, of Pearson, GA passed away, Saturday, 
April 4, 2015, at her home in Pearson, GA following an extended illness.
 A native of Clinch County, Mrs. McKinnon was born May 7, 1963, daughter off the 
late Chesley Whittington and Bessie Colley Harrell. She was a homemaker and member 
of Ozias Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in 
death by a sister Angela Whittington Gurley.
 Survivors include husband, Mark McKinnon of Pearson; daughter, Rebecca McKinnon 
Garrity and husband Bobby of Pearson; son Barton McKinnon and wife Melissa of 
Newton Grove, NC; mother and stepfather, Bessie and Benny Harrell of Pearson; four 
brothers, Dink Whittington and wife Luanne of Pearson, Rob Harrell and wife Tracy 
of Nicholls, Barry Harrell and wife Mandy of Pearson, Benjamin Harrell of 
Brunswick, GA; two sisters, Rhonda White and husband Tim of Douglas, Amanda Morris 
and husband Kelly of Pearson; grandchild, Adalyn Francyn McKinnon; several nieces, 
nephews, and others relatives also survive.
 A memorial service in honor and memory of Mrs. McKinnon was held Monday, April 6, 
2015, at 5:30 at Relihan Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
