Funeral services for Mrs. McMillan will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Willacoochee with Rev. John McMillan officiating. The interment will follow at Paulk Cemetery in Willacoochee. The family will be receiving friends from 6 to 9 this evening at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson. Mrs. McMillan, a long-time resident of Willacoochee, was born in Berrien County, Aug. 24, 1932, daughter of Jake and Alice Roberts Purvis. She was preceded in death by two brothers, H.D. Purvis and Nead Purvis. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Willacoochee. Survivors include her husband, J.Q. McMillan of Willacoochee; four sons, Gerald McMillan of Willacoochee, Roy McMillan of Alapaha, Joe McMillan and wife Lynn of Ambrose, Jessie McMillan and wife Becky of Willacoochee; a daughter, Belinda Newmans and husband Darrell of Brookfield; eight grandchildren, Becky Bedenbough and husband David, Timmy Newmans, April Tanner and husband Locke, Angie McMillan, Shon McMillan, Jessie Brooke McMillan, Jayna McMillan and Halie Futch McMillan; two great grandchildren, Ella Tanner and Alyssa Bedenbough; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were all nephews: Walt Bobo, Kenneth McMillan, Clyde Futch, Jr., Danny McMillan, Perry McMillan, Bill McMillan, Craig Purvis, Michael Purvis and honorary pallbearer, Quincy McMillan.
