Atkinson County Citizen - January 28, 2009
 Mrs. Martha G. McQuaig, 93 died Sunday January 28, 2009 at her residence in Way
Waycross after a lengthy illness.
 She was a native of Clinch County and raised in Atkinson County but had re
resided in Waycross most of her life. She was the wife of the late Oliver Bu
Burnice McQuaig and was preceded in death by her parents, Ken Jasper Giddens an
and Fannie Higgs Giddens; a step son, Franklin Eugene McQuaig; a sister, Sarah Po
Postel.
 She was a member of Lang Country Church in Clinch County and she retired in 1
1990 from King Edwards Cigars Factory. 
 The survivors include a step-son, Oliver John "O.J." McQuaig of Free Port, TX; 
a step-granddaughter, Debbie McQuaig of Freeport, TX; a brother, Joe Willie McQ
McQuaig (wife Helen) of Pearson, GA. 
 A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at Music Fu
Funeral Home Chapel in Waycross.
 The burial will follow at Arabia Cemetery in Clinch County. 
 Music Funeral Home of Waycross is in charge of arrangements.
