Atkinson County Citizen - 3-11-2004
 Tyrone "Tony" Mizell son of Vonell Musgrove Mizell and the late Lendsay Mizell 
of Douglas, passed away Monday, March 1, 2004 at his residence in Kathleen, GA 
after battling lung cancer for 2 1/2 years.

 Tony was born in Axson, GA on November 25, 1947 and graduated from Perry High 
School and was retired from the Medusa/Cemex Corp., Clinchfield, GA.

 Funeral services were held at Watson-Hunt Chapel on March 4, 2004 with 
interment in Perry Memorial Gardens.

 Tony will be loved and remembered by his survivors, wife, Harriet Mizell of 
Kathleen, GA, mother, Vonell Mizell, Douglas, GA, children are; sons, Victor 
and Marie Mizell, Petty, GA, Randy and Katie Mizell, Hawkinsville, GA, 
daughter, Amy and Neal Newhouse, Perry, GA, step son, Terry and Jeri Fountain, 
Cochran, GA and nine grandchildren. Brothers, M.L. and Miriam Mizell, Kathleen, 
GA, Nick and Amanda Mizell of Pearson, GA, Ira and Julie Mizell, Lancaster, CA, 
Henry and Sally Mizell, Douglas, GA, John and Sherri Mizell, Clover, SC, Ray 
Mizell, Douglas, GA, Jim Mizell, Griffin, GA, Jeff and Shelby Mizell, Douglas, 
GA, sisters, Judy and Faron Dunn, Griffin, GA, Julie and Terry Minchew, 
Douglas, GA, Louise and Michael Wright, Axson, GA.

 Also preceded in death, brother, Kay L. Mizell of Bonaire, GA, grandparents, 
Henry and Vera Walden Musgrove and Grady and Gladys Williams Mizell.
