Born August 6, 1946 in Coffee County, Mr. Mizell was the son of Orman and the l late Margaret Musgrove Mizell. He was a retired auto worker from General Motors C Corporation and was currently working as a truck driver for T.J. Transport. He w was also a farmer and the caretaker of Utah Cemetery. He was a member of the C Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include wife, Gisela Mizell of Axson, GA; daughter, Kerri Vickers and husband Mike of Locust Grove, GA; son, Brian Mizell and wife Wendy of Jenkinsburg, GA; father, Orman Mizell of Axson, Ga; stepson, Ron Summerfield and wife Tonia of Medina, OH, 2 stepdaughters, Angela Vetel and husband Chip of Grafton, OH, Heidi Moore and husband Chris of Axson, GA; brother, Jesse Wayne Mizell and wife Tracy of Axson, GA; sister, Margie Anderson and husband Jan of Provo, Provo, Utah, 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Mizell were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pearson, GA with Bishop Jam Jamie James and Bishop Steve Sirmans officiating. His sister Margie Anderson gav gave the Eulogy. Special musical selections included "Home" and "I Can Only Ima Imagine" presented by CD and "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" rendered by the the attending congregation with Ellen Hardee accompanying at the piano. Ellen Har Hardee pianist provided soft prelude and postlude music. The interment followed in in Utah Cemetery with the dedication of the grave by Bishop Dan Vickers. Serving as pallbearers were Morris Browning, Paul Mizell, Marshall Mizell, La Lamar Davis, Jerry Davis, John Davis, Charlie Mizell.
