Atkinson County Citizen - January 17, 2013
 Mr. Faron Anthony Mizell, age 51, of Axson, GA passed away Tuesday, January 8, 
2013 at his residence following an illness of several months.
 A native of Douglas, GA, Mr. Mizell was born April 18, 1961, son of Roy Jr. 
and Doris Jewell Mizell. He was a farmer and avid outdoorsmen who enjoyed 
fishing, hunting and riding around in his Ford truck. 
 Survivors, wife, Betty Ann Music Mizell of Axson, GA; parents, Roy Jr. and 
Doris Jewell Mizell of Axson, GA; 2 daughters, Becky Davis and husband Clay of
Axson
Axson, GA, Whitney Whitley and husband Timmy of Douglas, GA; 2 brothers, Little 
John Mizell of Axson, GA, Wesley Mizell and wife Theresa of Axson, GA; paternal 
grandmother, Sara Crosby Mizell of Axson, GA; 2 granddaughters, Cassie Davis,
Chyenne
Chyenne Funderburk; grandson, Hayden Mizell; several aunts, uncles and cousins 
also survive.
 Graveside funeral services for Mr. Mizell were held on Thursday, January 10, 
2013 at 3 p.m. at Utah Cemetery in Axson, GA with Bishop Jerry Waldron and Rev. 
Edward Mathews officiating. Special selections included, “We Rode in Trucks”
rendered by soloist/guitarist, Keith Whitley.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Timmy Whitley, Clay Davis, Raymond Gay, Damon
Mizell, 
rendered by soloist/guitarist, Keith Whitley.
 Serving as active pallbearers were Timmy Whitley, Clay Davis, Raymond Gay, 
Damon Mizell, Darryll Teston, Chad Teston, Emilio Ortiz, Eric Mizell.
 Serving as honorary pallbearers were Brad Mizell, Clay Mizell, Edward Mathews, 
Scott Thomas, Creed Worth, Axl Arnold, Ethan Nettles, Dade Mizell, Bailey.
 Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
