Atkinson County Citizen - August 2, 2007
 Marcus Wade Moore, 47, of Manor died Tuesday afternoon, July 24, 2007 at 
Clinch Memorial Hospital in Homerville after an extended illness. He is a 
native of Willacoochee, GA and lived in Manor for the past 8 years. He was 
preceded in death by his father, Amos Moore.
 Survivors included his wife, Betty Thompson Moore, Manor, two daughters, 
Angie  Moore and Pam Moore, both of Nashville, GA, son, Phillip Moore, 
Thomasville; mother Viritha Moore, Willacoochee, GA; step-daughter, Rose 
Thompson, Manor; three sisters, Diane Moore, Janice Moore and Bridgett Gaona, 
all of Willacoochee; 8 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews 
and other relatives.
 Funeral services for Mr. Moore were held Friday morning at 11 a.m. at New 
Prospect United Methodist Church in Manor. Burial followed at the church 
cemetery.
 Miles-Odum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
