Atkinson County Citizen - April 18, 2013
 Mrs. Eunice Morris age 81 of Pearson, GA passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2013 
at her home following an extended illness.
 A native of the Ambrose Community in Coffee County, Mrs. Morris was born 
December 23, 1931 daughter of Oliver Arthur and Vera Vickers Lott. She and her 
husband the late James T. Morris made their home in several communities as they 
moved to different towns to teach school. They eventually settled back in 
Pearson where she retired as Assistant Principal of Pearson Elementary School 
after thirty four years in education. Her church membership was at Mt. Zion 
Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. Morris, 
grandson, Michael Morris; sister Margaret Gaskins; brothers, Francis Lott and 
O.A. Lott.
 Survivors include daughter, Susan Carter and husband Tommy of Folkston, GA; 
two sons, Tim Morris and wife Lorrie of Kingsland, GA and Tom Morris and wife 
Arlene of Axson, G; brother, Dan Lott and wife Carol Ann of Ambrose, GA; three 
sisters, Clarice Batten and husband Jack of Douglas, Ga, Sandra Batten and 
husband Aubrey of Ambrose, GA, Connie Carver and husband Benny of Douglas, GA; 
six grandchildren, Jamie Morris and wife Jamanda, Jarred Morris and wife Emily,
Rhami
Rhami Kaiser and husband Brad, Greige Lott and wife Nicole, Timothy Morris and 
wife Courtney and Gillis Morris; and five great-grandchildren, Jaydon Morris, 
Jenna Grace Morris, Jackson Morris, Jim Kaiser and Elliot Lott; several nieces 
and nephews also survive. 
 Funeral services for Mrs. Morris were held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013 at 
Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Chaney and Rev. Bill Huffstuttler 
officiating. Special musical selections were “In the Garden” rendered by the 
attending congregation with Patricia Corbitt at the piano, “Beulah Land” rendered by
Pam 
rendered by Pam Huffstuttler, soloist accompanied by taped music and “Victory 
in Jesus” played as an instrumental as the family left the church. Soft music 
for the prelude and the postlude was by Patricia Corbitt pianist. 
 The interment followed in the Mt. Zion Cemetery.
 Serving as active pallbearers were grandchildren Jamie Morris, Jarred Morris,
Rhani
Rhani Kaiser, Greige Lott Timothy Morris, Gillis Morris.
 Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson, GA was in charge of the arrangements.
