 Edwin Willis Morris, Jr., 78, of Columbia, SC passed away Wednesday, April 9, 
2014.
 Born April 14, 1935, in Sanford, FL., he was a son of the late Edwin Willis, 
Sr. And O’Lena Summerlin Morris. He was an honor graduate of Berry College and 
later received an MBA degree from the University off Tennessee. Mr. Morris 
partnered with the late Jack Pulliam to found Pulliam-Morris Interiors, 
Columbia, S.C. He was also a partner in Kinard-Morris Real Estate investments, a 
founding member of Spring Valley Country Club, the Summit Club, a former first 
vice-president  of the Columbia Jaycees, a member of the Alumni Board of Berry 
College for many years, and a lifelong member of Pearson United Methodist 
Church.
 Surviving are his partner of 37 years, Rod Kinard of the home; brothers, B.N. 
Morris and his wife, Jerry, of Columbia, SC., J. W. Morris and his wife, Ginny, 
of Payson, AZ.; sister, Anne Morris Peterson and her husband, Bobby , of 
Douglas, GA; and six nieces and nephews.
 The family received friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2014, at 
Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. A visitation was from 11 a.m. to 1 
p.m. prior to the service at the home of Anne and Bob Peterson, 1402 Harrell 
Grove Church Road, Douglas, GA. A graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, 
April 14, 2014, in Satilla Memorial Gardens, Coffee County, GA.
